I had several times, though I can't say they were real foreigners. I mean, most of them were bilinguals or just translators like me.

It depends, though knowledge of the specific words would be definitely a plus, and a great one. But for starters it will be just enough to have fluent English of upper-intermediate and higher level.

But to be more precise you should tell:

1. What companies, positions or at least fields you are targeted for
2. What is your level, and more important - your experience.

It also depends on the person who will hold the first interview. If it is just a recruiter, than don't expect he will be interested in your English level. He will test only your oral abilities and professional experience and all your hobbies won't be taken into account.... so be prepared to here something like "I'm afraid, your knowledge is not enough" even if you have several diplomas in it.

But words are the thing easy to pick up, so don't worry to much about it. But I would advise not to count much on their positions. Foreign companies are quite distrustful for now, they can reject you at the very moment you are going to sign the contract with them.

Thank you for advice!
But I want to precise: when you write that "foreign companies are distrustful now", do you mean that in recession they are more likely to fire their employees than the russian ones? or what

1. They are more demanding than before. In banking field it is common to see " at least one year experience in foreign bank" in demands for a start-up position.
2. Before the crisis foreign companies were the only option for fresh-graduates as they were taking almost everyone and spent time on their education. Now even a 2 week education is inapropriate for most of them.
3. The staff is formed mostly according the shareholders desires. So temporary contracts are quite common now. That means in most cases that you would work in worse conditions than the regular staff, lacking all the social benefits and premiums and your job-security will be rather low.
4. They are quite changeful. Thiugh not so much as in october-december, but still they can change their mind at the very last moment. So, even if you get a job-offer, don't refuse other options before you sign the contract.
5. Most positions are "virtual". That means they need a specialist, but the position is frozen, due to the financial plan or just because they have already chosen someone but need to make an illusion of "a fair competition".

Job-security is low in any company right now, foreign or native. 'Global hiring freezing" is one of my most hated words)) And now is not the very good time for job search - new fresh-graduates, new wave of mass redundants with experience.... In fact you will be waiting for a month to hear "sorry" in most cases. Still you haven't mentioned the fields you are interested in. It would be more easy to give some advice then.

Looks like you're using Google translator too or perhaps your knowldge of the language is rather poor. Normally you should say "learn english" in the given context instead of "teach".

нравится другое исполнение этой песни... с этой песней для меня связан фильм "Чунгкинский экспресс" Вонга Кар Вая
